silive.com Review of Exhibition at the Noble Maritime Collection

I am honored to be mentioned in Michael J. Fressola’s review, “New exhibit ‘Inspired’ by kindred spirits of Staten Island marine master John A. Noble,” where he writes:

…Similarly, New York streetscape painter Patricia Melvin’s fondness for color resembles Noble’s….Melvin, who paints in oil on linen, is drawn to old and possibly endangered brownstone neighborhoods. Looking carefully and in detail at low-rise neighborhoods, Melvin improves the picture intensifying the painted facades (white, red, yellow) of “Shadows and Fire Escapes,” a sunny corner of the Bowery at 4th Street.

My designer suggested that it would be helpful to you to tell you that my site was professionally designed with customized WordPress generic template customized by php programmer, not a purchasable template. Best wishes, Patricia
